Faster documents and steadier collaboration

Open documents sooner, move through shared libraries more smoothly, and keep collaborative work safe through connection changes.

New

• AI agent setup, in Settings. Connect external Ai agent through MCP from Settings -> Connections, with current steps

Improved

• Documents open first. Sidebar previews, comments and history now wait their turn
• Real sidebar thumbnails. A 16px icon costs 88 bytes instead of a megabyte
• Lighter first load. Self-hosted fonts and a slimmer icon bundle, nothing fetched from Google
• Shared notes load in one trip. Your pins and folders arrive with the list, not after it
• Version history opens instantly. No more counting words in two hundred versions to show you one

Other improvements and fixes

• The Comment button now opens the comments pane every time
• Images no longer flicker when you switch documents
• No more false "some changes failed to sync" warning
• Tables look the same in live mode and split view, light and dark
• Small text across the app got a contrast pass
